CARI!’s Support for Kemenparekraf on the Development of Guideline for the Development of Resilient Tourism

CARI! is supporting the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) in developing a Guideline for the Development of Resilient Tourism (Pedoman Pengembangan Pariwisata Tangguh), which was launched by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy during the Weekly Brief with Sandi Uno, on March 6, 2023.

As part of this initiative, a concept will be developed for the development of resilient tourism and will serve as a reference to increase tourism resilience as well as a basis to develop disaster management programs for the tourism sector, ensuring a wonderful and sustainable future for Indonesia.

As a follow-up to the launching, on Monday, April 3, 2023, CARI! and Kemenparekraf conducted a focus group discussion (FGD) as a step in the development of the Guideline for the Development of Resilient Tourism. 

This FGD aims to inform relevant stakeholders that the process of preparing the Guideline for Resilient Tourism initiated by Kemenparekraf has started, identify issues related to the resilience of tourism, and enrich the resilience measurement concept.
