Bio


Ms Grace Endina, M.Sc., is a disaster management professional with over eight years of experience in disaster management and humanitarian assistance. She has deployment experiences to several emergency responses in Indonesia, Viet Nam and Myanmar.

She worked at the AHA Centre (ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management) for over six years, with hands-on experience managing ASEAN projects, such as AHA Centre Executive (ACE) and ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT). She also managed ASEAN’s rapidly deployable team (ASEAN-ERAT), from developing and delivering training program, maintaining and deploying the network.

Grace obtained scholarship to pursue her Master’s degree in Disaster Management at Universitas Pertahanan (UNHAN) in Indonesia and in International Development with Conflict and Humanitarian Action at the University of Bath in the United Kingdom (UK). She is also an ASEAN-ERAT member specialised in Rapid Needs Assessment, and an UNDAC (United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination) trained. Grace is currently a freelance consultant specialising in disaster management, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and ASEAN disaster management architecture. Grace is passionate to contribute to the local context of disaster management in Indonesia.
