CARI!’s Co-Founder and Vice Principal, as well as the Chairperson of our foundation, Retno Rifa Atsari, M.Sc., has been selected to be included in the list of Indonesian Women Leaders in Disaster Management Profile (Profil Pemimpin Perempuan Indonesia dalam Penanggulangan Bencana) book, along with the other 46 women leaders in the field of disaster at the local, national, and international levels.

The book was developed by the Indonesian Women’s Forum in Disaster Management, in collaboration with U-INSPIRE Indonesia, the National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB), the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection, UNFPA, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Kerti Praja Foundation, Indonesian Disaster Management Community (MPBI), ActionAid, UN OCHA, and UN WOMEN, and was published on 14 August 2023 through a virtual book launch.
