Description

Handling humanitarian crises is a complex problem in which there are numerous factors that dynamically influence each other. In 2020, Humanitarian Advisory Group and the Pujiono Center, with technical support from CARI! developed the Indonesian Humanitarian Systems Map. There are four propositions studied in this mapping activity of the Indonesian humanitarian system, which may transform the system. Each proposition corresponds to the financing, coordination, capacity, and accountability aspect of the system. Through this study, root causes, problems, and leverage points to transform the Indonesian Humanitarian System are well understood and can become a basis for systematic steps through future humanitarian initiatives and programs.
