ASB is developing a new project entitled Inclusive and Gender-responsive Implementation of Global and National Strategies and Frameworks for DRR and Climate Adaptation in South and Southeast Asia, promoting leadership by women and persons with disabilities. As part of the preparation, CARI! is supported ASB in conducting a feasibility study for the project to identify its prerequisites, opportunities, and risks to further enhance its effectiveness, as well as to provide concrete recommendations for the project. The feasibility study aimed to his consultancy assignment aims to develop and conduct the feasibility study in preparation for the final drafting and submission of a full project proposal, building on a project concept prepared by ASB and local implementing partners and pre-selected by BMZ. The assignment involved fieldwork and data collection in 3 countries (Indonesia, Bangladesh, and The Philippines) followed by workshop was attended by representatives from the ASB headquarter in Germany, ASB Indonesia and The Philippines, Jemari Sakato (Indonesia), the People’s Initiative for Learning and Community Development (The Philippines), and the Centre for Disability in Development (Bangladesh).
