The purpose of this research to know ( 1 ) mitigation non structural tsunami and earthquake in the red zone of Padang City.( 2 ) Local wisdom which is in the community in the red zone of the Padang City in mitigation tsunami and earthquake and ( 3 ) influence local wisdom which is in the community in the red zone in Padang City to face off the tsunami and earthquake disaster. This research method is a descriptive method with the type of qualitative research. The informants of this research are the people in the red zone area of ??Padang City. Determination of informants is done by snowball sampling technique.  Data collection is done by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. This research found that: (1) Non-structural mitigation that exists in the community in Padang`s red zone area is the socialization and simulation of the earthquake and tsunami disaster. (2) Local wisdom that exists in the community in the red zone area of ??the Padang City is to make natural phenomena as a sign of disaster, there is a tradition Tolak Bala and preparation for refuge. (3) The influence of local wisdom in the community in the Padang City red zone in the face of the earthquake and tsunami disaster is that the community feels calm, safe and wise. Show More
